EVENT CENTER ADDS HD GOLF TO AMENITIES

Phillips Event Center at Briarcrest, formerly Briarcrest Country Club, in Bryan, Texas, extends their long list of amenities to include indoor golf by adding two new state-of-the-art High Definition Golf™ simulators.

Patrons can now golf at top courses from around the world including Pebble Beach, regardless of weather conditions on the HD Golf™simulators. Golf pros at the center can also help customers keep their game sharp through the cooler weather with custom club fitting and training tools available on the simulators.

“The HD Golf™ simulators have been a great addition to our facility,” says Micah Turner, Director of Operations at the Phillips Event Center. “Not only do our customers really enjoy using them, but on the business side, we’ve generated additional income by renting them out by the hour and offering indoor golf instruction. They also double as theatre screens allowing us to host live sporting events in our Quarry Bar and increase our food and beverage revenue.”

More than just a wedding venue, this newly renovated event space offers indoor and outdoor golf, banquet space, a restaurant and bar, tennis facilities, a swimming pool, and it’s open to the public.

Customers are also raving about the remodeled venue. Casey G. says “This place is absolutely amazing! I have hosted a wedding shower and a birthday party downstairs at the new and improved restaurant and my guest were amazed by the overall atmosphere! The new menu is on point with their fried pickled spears, bacon wrapped quail and weekly signature drink specials. Also, we got to use the two HD simulators. Let’s just say our family and friends were impressed!”

Pinpoint Accuracy

The competitive golfer requires accurate, comprehensive measurement to fade & shape their shots on-command. HD Golf™ pioneered Computer Vision Technology in the golf industry, and is the only to use high speed, programmable smart cameras to achieve this level of accuracy. Collectively, our CVT technology & smart cameras deliver pinpoint accuracy & exceptional shot analysis for every shot.

Comprehensive Measurement: We measure ALL the critical club & ball parameters to analyze exactly what’s happening each time a golfer swings. There are, at minimum 4 cameras capturing your swing. They analyze club head speed, launch angle, swing path, club contact (heel/toe), club face (open/closed), efficiency, smash factor and a specific camera dedicated to measuring spin and spin-axis.

Accuracy of Measurement: Comprehensive measurements are critical, but the accuracy of these measurements is equally important. HD Golf™ Simulators measure with supreme accuracy. For example, we measure club face angle contact to within 1/10th of 1 degree. We also measure ball spin to within +/- 100rpm while competitor systems estimate (“calculate”) spin.
